The MidasMount Skaterail Slider is a lightweight, portable, DSLR slider system that can be mounted on a tripod, a tabletop or on a set of C-stands or light stands. It comes with either a 4' or 6' track and a 10" powder coated aluminum slider with skatebaord wheels.
The slider can also be used on pvc pipe or garden hose as curved track. The plate has several threaded and non-threaded holes for mounting 1/4" and 3/8" hardware.
The MidasMount Skaterail Slider comes with a tripod mountable center plate with a 3/8-16 thread, a 1/4-20 thread and a 3/8" clear hole for various tripod mounts. You can also attach a set of junior pin receivers so that you can mount the track onto C-Stands or light stands.
The MidasMount Skaterail Slider was developed by sending out our prototype slider with Los Angeles independent filmmakers for several months, using the feedback to create a product that's sturdy and functional and most importantly, affordable.
